A Message From Pelvic Health Specialists, Dr. Lindsay and Dr. Kari

If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions, you are in the right place!
Many people suffer unnecessary constipation or urinary incontinence because they’re told…
The Truth Is...

"We Help Active Adults In Asheville, NC To Quickly And Safely Return To The Hobbies And Activities They Love And Cherish Without Pain Medications Or Surgery."

Wondering if Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy is right for you?

We know that when it comes to experiencing pelvic floor problems and dysfunction, it can be difficult to know what the right choice is in finding relief.

Let us help you by taking our Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy Pop Quiz to see if PT is the right decision for you!

It can be very confusing to decide exactly what you should do if you have chronic constipation and urinary issues. You’ve likely heard a lot of options such as…

It’s overwhelming to try to make a decision with all these choices… what will happen if you don’t make the right one?

Most people get stuck trying to make a decision about what to do next. They go days, weeks, months (even years!) without taking action.

When It Comes To Solving Something Serious Like Chronic Constipation Or Urinary Incontinence…

You must choose the right provider for your health. If you don’t, you could end up getting a dangerous surgery (when it was unnecessary) or being dependent on pills for the rest of your life (that don’t do anything to actually SOLVE the issue).

Getting the “least-invasive,” most natural treatment is VITAL to you stopping your bladder and bowel issues and keeping it from ever coming back. To do that, you have to not just treat the irregularity and pain that comes with it, but have a provider who is willing to figure out why it started in the first place. That’s when you’ll get a PERMANENT solution to your problem.

At WildHawk Physical Therapy we’ve created a 3 step process to get rid of your incontinence and urgency AND make sure it doesn’t come back again.

Step #1 - We Want To Listen To Your Story

Our medical system is frustrating. You wait weeks, sometimes months, for an appointment, only to get to talk to the doctors for 10 minutes before they have to run to the next patient and you’re left sitting there wondering, “What just happened?”

Even most pelvic floor physical therapy clinics operate this way. They’re not attentive, they’re fast-paced, and your therapist doesn’t have time to actually check everything out and do a thorough assessment to know exactly how bad things have gotten and what to do about SOLVING your problem.

This is why our first step is to listen to your story.

After working with lots of women with urinary incontinence and bowel issues, we know that no two people are alike. Each person has a different body, a different history, and different types of leaking or urgency.

That is why our first step is to have an open conversation and time for you to tell your story. That way we get a deep understanding of what’s going on, not just with your body, but also how it’s impacting your life.

STEP #2 - FIND OUT WHY URINARY INCONTINENCE AND URGENCY STARTED

Many people have a diagnosis or medical term for what’s going on with their bodies. Maybe their doctor gave it to them, maybe tests showed the diagnosis, or maybe you found it online. It could be Stress Incontinence, Urge Incontinence, Mixed Incontinence, Urinary Frequency, or something else.

You could have been told that your only choice was to rest, take pills, do some Kegels, up your fiber intake or get surgery.

Sometimes, those things bring temporary relief, but they’re not addressing what CAUSED the problem in the first place.

Every person’s cause of urinary incontinence or bowel issues is different. No one has the exact same problem caused by the exact same thing as another person.

Our goal at WildHawk Physical Therapy is to find the original cause of your leaking or urgency, so not only does your incontinence go away, it STAYS AWAY!

We understand that you might be skeptical or unsure if physical therapy is the right treatment for your pelvic pain. If that’s you, feel free to give us a call below. We’d love to talk about your concerns and see if we’re the best fit for you!

STEP #3 - GET RID OF THE CONSTIPATION AND URGENCY & KEEP IT FROM COMING BACK

This is when the big transformations occur. We develop a personalized plan that allows you to…

…Have more regular bowel movements so you can enjoy work and home life AND get back to your social life….without being consumed with worry about your bathroom habits.

…Get back to coughing, sneezing, laughing with your friends, running errands, and exercising without fear of peeing your pants or having to wear a pad “just in case.”

…Get back to exercising and traveling without feeling bloated all the time or feeling the urge to have a bowel movement….with no results.

…Be able to play with your kids or grandkids, get back to your favorite workouts, and be intimate with your spouse without feeling uncomfortable abdominal pain anymore.

…Get back to the active lifestyle you love without worrying if you’ll make things worse later on.

Our best clients are those who are motivated and ready to win back their active lifestyle. (Even if they feel stuck right now!)

Want to know more about our availability and costs before making any commitment to coming in?

You don’t have to sacrifice the activities you love over problems that can be fixed.

Sincerely,
Dr. Lindsay and Dr. Kari

“The team at WildHawk is incredible! Lindsay is an incredible pelvic floor PT who helped me recover from postpartum issues I was experiencing. Her care and support helped me get back to high-impact exercise without any recurring issues or pain. She is thoughtful, professional, and focused on her patients’ long term success. I can’t recommend her and the team enough!”

Molly Ellender

“I started seeing Lindsay as I prepare for my 2nd baby. I had a minor prolapse after my first and loss of bladder control. I’m 4 weeks into our 8 week program and am seeing TONS of improvement. She is clear on what I have to do to be successful, gave me timelines, and as I stick to the regimen, I’m seeing the results. If you’re thinking about going, do yourself the favor. Commit to the program and it will work. She knows exactly what she’s doing!”
